NTV be my date present Anita Fabiola has allegedly been fired from the station for disgracing the brand after her inappropriate pictures leaked to the media.
Fabiola who claims she was not fired but rather resigned out of respect for the brand and personal decision took to social media on Tuesday evening to break the news of her “fall out” with the Serena based station.
“The last week hasn’t been easy; no woman would like to show her body to complete strangers. Much as I am a victim, I feel like I have let you down” Fabiola wrote.
“….as a result, I have decided to take a media break as I deal with the humiliation. I am resigning from my Job at NTV.” She added.
Last week, the “inappropriate” pictures of a girl who is said to be Fabiola were leaked by a local tabloid paper causing social media chaos and debate as everyone wanted to get their view of the Be My date beauty.
Media reports had earlier indicated that the "Be My Date" presenter paid a lump sum of shs7 million to someone who apparently got a hold of the same pictures. Fabiola also claimed she has never taken any “inappropriate” pictures on March 21 2015.
"Be My Date” is a dating reality television show that airs on NTV Uganda every Sunday, whose aim is to bring together soul mates and hopefully end in a happily ever after marriage.
